【17th IAF Asia Conference - Singapore 2014 】The facilitators of 2020: Become the indispensable partners of change to the world
セッションの目的
WE HAVE A DREAM.
Someday, “facilitator” will be one of the most admired professions in the world and the next generation will take facilitators as role models and aspire to become facilitator themselves.
We believe this will be the result of the collaboration of facilitators across the world, taking action to create a positive impact in a continuously changing society.
We aim at being recognized by individuals, families, communities, companies and governments of the world as indispensable thinking and action partners.
So we are inviting our facilitator friends to think together about this ambitious and exciting theme while introducing the concept of Future Sessions.

Future Session is a facilitation process developed in Japan by Takahiko Nomura. After the Great East Japan Earthquake, many complex issues emerged.
Among them, the urgent need to rebuild communities and create a new future for devastated areas.
This method helps people to proactively co-create their own future through guided dialogue.
Since then, the method has been widely used in Japan to generate solutions for diverse social issues related to aging population, environment and children education and in companies, to foster innovation for instance.
Yuta and Isabelle is a young Franco-Japanese tandem that met in Tokyo through facilitation.
As they were discussing how great the experience of participating to the 2013 IAF Asia Conference was, they promised themselves to be the next ones to facilitate an outstanding session in Singapore.
“While mixing with our respected seniors enables us to benefit from their great experience, we aspire to represent the next generation of facilitators as a pair of individuals who crossed Japanese and French boarders to team up. At the IAF Asia Conference in Singapore, we will blow a new wind inside the IAF by facilitating a Future Session to create our future as facilitators.”
